Seamus Corry: My
STORY
Seamus Corry is a dedicated wellbeing consultant, mental health instructor, and founder based in Manchester, UK. With over 25 years of experience, Seamus has inspired individuals, groups, and organisations by mentoring, supporting, and guiding people to achieve their true potential.
A Journey of Resilience
Seamus’s journey began with a deep commitment to the Roman Catholic priesthood, being chosen for this path at a young age. Ordained in 1994, he served for 15 months before realising that the priesthood was not his true calling. This challenging period included:
• Immigration to a new country
• The loss of family and friends
• A painful redefinition of his purpose
Instead of being defined by these challenges, Seamus transformed his pain into a tool for helping others. By seeking therapy and support, he rebuilt his life and dedicated the past 29 years to guiding individuals who feel stuck or need direction.
In 2025, Seamus is set to release his autobiography, published by Phenom Publishing. The book, which will also be available on Amazon, will delve deeper into his journey of resilience and overcoming adversity. Seamus plans to promote his autobiography through a book tour, podcasts, and interviews, offering insights and inspiration to a broader audience.
Seamus is also the host of several podcast series, including:
• Mental Health Matters: A 10-episode series where Seamus connects with guests to discuss mental health journeys.
• Mental Health Matters and Wellbeing with Seamus: A completed 12-episode series focusing on wellbeing strategies.
• In the Spotlight: A newly launched podcast series highlighting unique and inspiring stories.
In addition to his work as a wellbeing consultant and mental health practitioner, Seamus is a published author and podcaster, with a mission to challenge perceptions of mental health and promote positive wellbeing. His life story of resilience and rebuilding his life serves as a testament to his belief in making a meaningful impact.
